The following is a partial list of sight words introduced in Kindergarten. Please review this list with your child at home whenever you are reading together by paying special attention to these words. Your child may learn many other sight words in our class including color and number words. Students refer to these words on the Word Wall in our classroom during reading and writing. The words are introduced and reinforced during shared reading and through little books. We play many games to review the words such as clapping/snapping the words, cheering the words, songs, silly sentences, Who Wants to Read Like a Millionaire, and more.
