For the 100th day of school we celebrate in many ways. The students make class books after discussing what we would buy with $100.00. We do 100 exercises-10 jumping jacks, 10 toe taps, etc. We usually read Caps For Sale around this time and make a bulletin board with a peddler wearing 100 caps. We have a picnic with 100 snacks (10 raisins, 10 M&Ms, 10 teeny pretzels,etc.) We also have 100 ants that we make ourselves by cutting egg cartons into sections, painting them and pushing in a pipecleaner for antennae!
